Xinjiang is the huge autonomous region located in the North-West part
of China. In summer 2008 I have been traveling to its capital,
Urumqi, and did some hiking near sights like the "Heavenly Lake",
and Kanas Lake in the far North of the region. Here a random selection
of photos which I took during my trip.
